What is Real + True?
Real + True is a project that believes the Catechism is not a textbook, a collection of ideas, or a set of rules; It is the faithful echo of a God who wishes to reveal himself to us and desires us to respond.
Receiving the official endorsement of the Holy See in 2022, Real + True is a video and podcast series that makes the content of the Church's teachings accessible to a modern audience.
Visual Development
The team spent a lot of time in pre-production finding the right images, symbols, and visual analogies for communicating the complex topics of the videos. Ideas were tested and vetted extensively both on paper and pixels.
Motion
Establishing a balance of abstract and character animation was a rewarding challenge that gave the animators space to build on visual concepts by adding additional layers of meaning and context.
